Enterprise digital transformation is a huge and challenging undertaking, but also a necessary one.
T-Mobile’s VP of Strategic Transformation, Scott Tweedy, knows this challenge first hand, “From an enterprise standpoint, having senior leaders that are able to pause long enough to implement change is the only way digital transformation can move forward.”
Tweedy participated in a panel discussion at the 2017 Digital Transformation Roadshow in Seattle, Washington. There, he shared insight into the challenges T-Mobile has faced, as well as the strategy he has led to “digitally transform all of our platforms, from our billing systems to our training programs.”
“The major challenge within T-mobile is the outdated infrastructure that is rooted deep within all company processes. ‘Legacy companies,’ like T-Mobile now have the added challenge of competing against newer companies that are ‘born in the cloud,’ and work within a significantly more agile framework.”
To measure the effectiveness of their new systems, and how they train employees on these systems, T-Mobile uses WalkMe Insights, “Having an analytics dashboard [is] powerful in helping leadership understand the flaws in the onboarding process and make employees feel confident about delivering on the brand promise.”
