Here we go! The Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, which takes place this week in Washington D.C., is an annual, global convergence of Microsoft’s top partners. It’s where companies come together to network, drive business growth and identify new profitability opportunities.
It is also where Microsoft Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft will both deliver the keynote, and perhaps reveal dramatic development in Microsoft strategy. In an email to all employees on Thursday, CEO Satya Nadella said Microsoft will direct its business on making tools to make the best use of the consumer’s time in the mobile-first, cloud-first world. CEO Satya Nadella says, “The company must be bolder and more ambitious as it tries to stay competitive in the always shifting tech industry. Our industry does not respect tradition, it only respects innovation.”
So excitement is very much in the air. The conference will feature a wide agenda focused on cloud computing, SaaS, Big Data, and – of course – everything related to key Microsoft software. much
