Forrester Confirms a 368% ROI for Enterprises Using WalkMe

We’ve always known that WalkMe’s Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) changed how companies function. Over the years, we’ve collected hundreds of customer stories and data that demonstrate DAP’s positive effects.

But we wanted to put our understanding of digital adoption’s ROI to the test. Based on four experienced WalkMe customers, we commissioned Forrester, a leading analyst firm, to perform a Total Economic Impact (TEI) study that provides a rigorous cost and benefit analysis for technology of all kinds. The results confirm what we’ve known all along: DAP’s impact is massive.

Forrester’s investigative analysis concluded that WalkMe yields a 368% ROI.

How the results were calculated

Forrester interviewed four WalkMe customers, aggregated their experiences, and combined the results into a single composite organization.
The 4 companies included:

  1. Red Hat – 16,000-person Software company in US 
    – Gabi Ghali, Senior Manager, IT Transformation Center of Excellence
  2. Modernizing Medicine – A US SaaS company with 120,000 users 
    – Brad Rennick, Senior VP Customer Success
  3. Christus Health – A55,000-person Healthcare company in US 
    – Tobias Washington, Head of Talent Technologies, Innovation and Creative Solutions
  4. Engie – 170,000-person Energy company in Europe
    – Delphine Maroux Martin, Continuous Improvement and Customer Excellence Manager

Quantified and qualified benefits

Each of these WalkMe customers had a different focus and purpose for using DAP.

The study calculated the quantified effect of WalkMe DAP on a range of business needs from training and onboarding, support call reduction, customer retention, and software spend savings.

Modern Medicine’s Senior VP of customer success stated that, “There was a 50% reduction in calls for product support – which could result in a reduction of effectively eight in headcount.”

Other qualitative benefits customers experienced in this study, included: improved employee experience, engagement, customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
