Earlier this week, WalkMe paired up with Engadget to provide one lucky winner with a brand new iPad Mini and the hottest fitness band, the Nike+ FuelBand. To enter, users just needed to go through the Engadget portal, plus a bonus entry if they followed the WalkMe Twitter account. Truly, we went into the promotion with not many expectations. However, we were overwhelmed by the amount of entries we received. After a little over a day, nearly 35 thousand entries were received. Along with the entries, over 1,000 people commented on the thread expressing their desire for the devices, and their admiration for Engadget and WalkMe – anything to get that extra edge. Apparently people really wanted the gadgets, badly. The winner was chosen at random yesterday. So whoever you are out there, you’re welcome!
